The BuZZone product is based on the Bluetooth wireless communication technology meant for communicating data over short distances.

The first version of BuZZone was developed for Windows platforms. The supported operating systems and platforms are:

The system is planned to be supported by all the Windows mobile platforms which are being used more and more in different devices, namely PDA's (Microsoft Pocket PC, Windows Mobile), smartphones (Microsoft Smartphone), and telephones (Microsoft Pocket PC Phone Edition).

Bluetooth Modules and Development Tools
The BuZZone system has been developed using the Bluetooth development tools of the WIDCOMM Corporation:

The WIDCOMM Corporation specializes in producing Bluetooth drivers and development tools for Windows platforms. Most of the Bluetooth modules meant for working under the Windows operating systems use WIDCOMM drivers and communication software (BTW, BTW-CE).
The WIDCOMM drivers work with most types of the Bluetooth modules, including:
